Suresh Chander Gupta
President
Mr. Gupta has been a member of the Ved Mandir Committee for over three years. He was occupied with his bank job and only became more involved in the committee's activities after retiring in 2012. In 2020, the committee offered him the opportunity to serve as president. He enjoys the company of children and feels refreshed after interacting with them
Amita Sharma
Vice President
Ms. Sharma retired as a Section Officer from DDK Jammu after serving for 41 years. In 2016, she was elected as the Vice President of the Ved Mandir Committee. In addition to her duties, she fully manages Balika Niketan and Ved Mandir Pathshalla.
Mr K K Mangi
Treasurer
Mr. Mangi retired from government service as an engineer from the R&B department in J&K in October 1998. He made the decision to join Ved Mandir in 1999, drawn by influential, intelligent, and dedicated individuals and with the blessings of the almighty. He holds membership in the Ved Mandir Committee and has occupied four out of five key positions (Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Treasurer) up to now, demonstrating remarkable commitment and leadership.
Nagar Mal Gupta
Secretary
Mr. Gupta has been serving as the Secretary of the Ved Mandir committee since 2022. He has a long history of public service, having participated in events such as the wars of 1965 and 1971. In addition, he has been involved in collecting food for migrants, donating blood, and participating in other social services. After retiring from the NAIPC services, he joined seven other social service organizations.
Alok Kumar Sharma
Joint Secretary
Mr. Sharma retired as Chief Manager from State Bank of India in 2015. After his retirement, he wanted to join an NGO to serve his countrymen. He has been a member of the Ved Mandir Committee, serving as Treasurer for 4 years and currently holding the position of Joint Secretary. He enjoys the company of children and feels refreshed after interacting with them.
Shashi Sharma
Administrative Manager
Ms. Sharma has been with Ved Mandir Orphanage for over 30 years. She joined in 1992 as a part-time tutor and later became a critical part of the committee. She now serves as the Administrative Manager for Bal Niketan and Balika Niketan. From the very beginning, she wanted to support an NRO, and she feels blessed to be a part of Ved Mandir. She is always thankful to all the volunteers who have participated over the years and for all their hard work. All the children of Ved Mandir are her family.
